Research Evaluation

Evaluation of Research Activities

Unibasq actively collaborates in the evaluation of various calls for grants for Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+I) activities. In some cases, this work is carried out by the Agency in active collaboration with other agents of reference in the promotion and evaluation of the R+D+I activity.

Unibasq carries out the evaluations in accordance with the most demanding international quality standards and methodologies. To this end, the Agency relies on the external collaboration of specialised academic staff who coordinate or carry out the evaluations in accordance with the evaluation criteria established by the entity awarding the grants. Similarly, the international reference principles and standards for evaluation are considered, including the principles of specialisation, experience, independence and objectivity.

Unibasq has evaluated, among others, the following calls for activities and grants in the general field of R+D+I:

  • Grants for academic excellence of the Basque Government aimed to recognise and reward students with high academic performance (2012-2013).
  • Postdoctoral contracts from the University of the Balearic Islands (2013).
  • Postdoctoral Programme of the Basque Government (2014-2015).
  • Euskalit- Quality Innovation (all editions from 2013 to 2021).
  • Euskampus Resilience Covid19 Research Projects Programme (2020).
  • Call for University-Business-Society Research Projects of the UPV/EHU (2020 and 2021).
