Unibasq has participated in the II European University Alliances Forum held in Barcelona on 14 and 15 September. The forum was attended by almost 400 participants, including representatives of the alliances themselves, the European Commission, member states, student associations, quality agencies and university associations. During these two days, among other issues, the participants discussed how to bring the “European Universities” initiative closer to society; the strategy for the creation of a “European degree” to make it easier for higher education institutions to offer joint programmes and obtain joint degrees; and the social dimension of European universities.
